KSRM (Kabir Steel Re-Rolling Mills) rebars are produced using cutting edge POMINI technology with a combination of multiple automated Re-Rolling mills that meet today’s international standards. The B500CWR rebars are made as per the ISO 6935-2:2015(E), BDS ISO 6935-2:2016, BS 4449:2005+A3:2016 grade B500C, while the grade B420DWR 60 rebars are made following the ASTM A615, ASTM A706, ISO 6935-2:2015(E) grade B420DWR, BDS ISO 6935-2:2016 grade B420DWR. Our world class products come in the form of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, 28mm, 32mm, 40mm & 50mm.

Why do we write B500CWR instead of 500W?

Previously KSRM followed BDS ISO 6935-2: 2006 and the grade name was RB 500W. That’s why KSRM used to write 500W on the rebar. But BSTI recently updated their standard as BDS ISO 6935-2: 2016 and the grade name has been changed to B500CWR. Therefore, we changed the logo as B500CWR in order to get the license.

Moreover, B500CWR has T/Y (Ultimate tensile strength/ Yield strength) ratio 1.15 & Agt (elongation at maximum force) is 7% but RB500W had T/Y ratio only 1.05 & Agt only 2.5%. So, present B500CWR grade is better than previous.

Why do we write B420DWR instead of 400?

Previously KSRM followed BDS ISO 6935-2: 2006 and the grade name was RB 400. That’s why KSRM used to write 400 on the rebar. But BSTI recently updated their standard as BDS ISO 6935-2: 2016 and the grade name has been changed to B400DWR & B420DWR. Therefore, we changed the logo as B420DWR in order to get the license.

Moreover, 400 MPa (58,000 psi) doesn’t meet the strength of 60G (60,000 psi). Hence 420 MPa (60,900 psi) meets the required strength of 60G. Besides, B420DWR has T/Y (Ultimate tensile strength/ Yield strength) ratio 1.25 & Agt (elongation at maximum force) is 8% but RB400 had T/Y ratio only 1.05 & Agt only 2.5%. So, present B420DWR grade is better than previous.
