With his youthful energy and dedication, Shahriar played a pivotal role in expanding KSRM’s distribution network and brand presence. In the decade since he joined, KSRM Steel experienced a tenfold increase in sales volume and significantly boosted its production capacity. The Group also diversified, becoming the largest ocean-going vessel owner in Bangladesh.
In January 2017, Shahriar was appointed Deputy Managing Director, overseeing all facets of the Group’s business interests. His hard work and strategic insight have earned him a reputation as a prominent figure in Bangladesh’s steel and shipping industries.
Shahriar is also a Director of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries, the region's oldest chamber.
Looking ahead, Shahriar envisions KSRM playing a crucial role in Bangladesh's industrial revolution. Shahriar aspires for KSRM to seize these opportunities, contributing to the nation's pride and success on the world map.
